Dissertation themed self initiated
A coded photo-booth that creates glitched portraiture.
Using the theme of ‘glitches’ and the blurring line between the digital and real from my dissertation, I worked with David Easton to code a glitch photo-booth that would allow the user to take ‘selfies’ that have merged two perspectives of their face together.

The booth allows for colour changes and many combinations, the movement of the cameras also allows for perspective changes to create multiple outcomes for the user to pick from.
This filter booth could be developed and applied to apps such as Snapchat or Instagram, however I would prefer to propose this outcome as an interactive art piece to be placed within an exhibition around the same themes as my dissertation.

Seen below is the imagery David Easton and I created with the original code and the improved version of the code.
