Cluster

An A5 book on Cluster artists.

For my internship with Cluster London, I worked with company owner and founder Ema Marinova, to curate and design marketing material for Clusters exhibitions.

This project was for Cluster's UGLY DUCK 'METAMORPHOSIS' exhibition in May 2019, for which I designed a A5 sized book for Marinova. This book contained the artists that would be exhibiting, their name, images of the work exhibited, quotes and information on either education, their work/ style and what inspires them.

Curated by Marinova herself the exhibition is described on the Cluster website as a way 'to celebrate beginning 2019 by throwing our largest fair to date, pulling the threads and gathering the talent to fill to the brim three floors of atmospheric warehouse interiors at 47/49 Tanner Street.

You'll find offbeat examples from the fields of Craft and Illustration, each spanning across two or three floors, an expansive treasure trove to delve into. And for the creators out there, we're a fourth space, 'The HUB', which will be filled each and everyday with back to back workshops, screenings and talks.

Creating a space to socialise, network, learn, absorb, make, test, learn, buy and sell.'

In the role of intern, I was grid making in InDesign, doing editorial design, copy writing, image research, gathering and ordering information, as well as looking at and following strict brand guidelines. My main objective whilst working within the company was to ensure the advertising remained consistent and portrayed the 'Cluster' brand in a professional manner.
