Bexhill
Advertising for the seaside town, inspired by the location itself.
Working with designers Jack Li and Tsvetan Mitev for a research based project that had us creating advertising that encouraged London commuters to take a break from their stressful routines and visit the relaxing seaside town of Bexhill.

To begin we visited the location to document the type of sounds, smells, textures and surfaces found within. Li, Mitev and myself combined all our individual research, which resulted in observations in reoccurring themes through our photos, notes and videos of the location.

Our outcome had to become a visual identity based on what we had found, so we carefully considered themes based on what we had collated together.
We narrowed down our focus onto the calm, quiet and most crucial to our design therapeutic aspects of the location, resulting in an animated poster/ advertising for Bexhill.

The design replicates calm breathing techniques and the accompanying motions, with the colours used being extracted from our own images of the space.
This is our visual identity for Bexhill.
